What is TenderHub and how does it work?

TenderHub is an online service that aggregates opportunities such as requests for tender and requests for proposal from across Australia. We categorise and sort the information about these tender opportunities and present them to you in a single easy-to-use website that works on your desktop and mobile devices.

TenderHub’s real-time notification system ensures that you never miss an opportunity and that you hear about them earlier than your competition!

How can my organisation benefit from using TenderHub?

TenderHub is a cost-effective way of locating tender opportunities without spending hours every day logging into and searching hundreds of individual tender portals. We also offer many additional features that are not found on these tender portals that make the whole opportunity discovery lifecycle more efficient.

What geographical regions does TenderHub cover?

TenderHub is a wholly Australian owned service that lists tender opportunities from all states, territories, and regions of Australia.

What type of tender opportunities do you publish?

TenderHub aggregates tender opportunities from across Australia. There are no limitations on regions or industry categories in any of our subscription plans.

How often is opportunity information updated?

TenderHub's aggregation engine is operating continuously around the clock to find new tender opportunities and updated information about existing tender opportunities.

How do I find out more about a particular opportunity?

As an aggregator TenderHub is not the issuer of tender opportunities. When you are reviewing an opportunity on TenderHub, you can click through to the opportunity source (such as a government or private sector buyer organisation). From there you will be able to contact the buyer, download tender documents, or submit a proposal.

What are 'relevant' tender opportunities?

TenderHub uses a variety of information including your previous usage patterns, saved searches, and watch-list to determine which tender opportunities may be of most interest to you. When you perform a search you can choose to sort your search results by this computed relevance.

Do you have a mobile app?

TenderHub is designed to be used on desktop devices and mobile devices without requiring the installation of a mobile app. The TenderHub website will automatically scale according to your device's capabilities, making it suitable for use everywhere.

Do you offer customer support?

We sure do. TenderHub's entire team including our friendly customer support staff are located in Australia. Customer support can be reached by any one of the channels listed on our support page.

Organisations

It appears that someone from my organisation has already subscribed to TenderHub. How do I gain access to that existing subscription?

We suggest that you make enquiries within your organisation to find the administrator and request that they send you an invitation to the TenderHub organisation. If this is proving difficult, please contact us and we may be able to assist you in locating the right person.

As a last resort, you can go ahead and create a new TenderHub organisation. Note that this new organisation will be completely separate from any existing organisations, even though they may have the same name and ABN.

It appears that someone from my organisation has already subscribed to TenderHub. I have gone ahead and created the organisation again. Can we merge duplicate organisations into one in future if we find that we need to?

Please contact us and we may be able to assist you in merging organisations. Given the sensitivity of personal and organisational information in TenderHub, we will need to verify that you have the appropriate authority to request this on behalf of your organisation.

How can I collaborate with colleagues within our organisation?

TenderHub allows you to invite colleagues within your business organisation to your TenderHub organisation. Once they are settled in, you can:

  • Share saved searches and associated notification settings with your team.
  • Share watchlisted tender opportunities and collaborate on them by recording notes which can be made visible to the rest of the team.
  • Make a colleague an administrator for your TenderHub organisation.

More collaboration features are being added to TenderHub all the time!

Can I invite someone from outside my business organisation into my TenderHub organisation?

Yes, if there is a genuine reason to have an outside person associated within your organisation e.g. a contracted business development manager. This person will count towards the user limit of your organisation’s subscription.

Note that each TenderHub user (identified by email address) can only be associated with a single TenderHub organisation.

Our previous TenderHub organisation administrator has left the business organisation. How do I regain administrative access to the subscription?

This happens in many businesses from time to time, and we know it can be a real headache. Please contact us and we’ll sort it out for you. We’ll just need to verify that you have the authority to represent the business.

Notifications

How can I ensure that I don’t miss new tender opportunities that are relevant to my organisation?

You can save your searches and receive a notification whenever a new opportunity matches your search criteria. These notifications can be delivered to you via email (as a daily summary) or via SMS.

TenderHub remembers which tender opportunities you’ve already seen and we won’t notify you about them again.

How can I keep abreast of changes to a specific opportunity?

TenderHub allows you to keep a watch-list of tender opportunities that you have marked as interesting to you. We’ll tell you when any of the following happens to an opportunity on your watch-list:

  • the opportunity is closing.
  • the opportunity has closed.
  • the opportunity has been awarded.
  • modifications were made to the opportunity such as changes to the title, description, region or category.
  • an upcoming briefing or site visit is expected.

Note that our ability to provide these updates may vary dependent on the quality of the information provided by the buyer. It is therefore important not to rely exclusively on these notifications.

Subscriptions and billing

What access to TenderHub do I have without buying a subscription?

You can explore all the features of TenderHub and all the indexed tender opportunities for 7 days free of charge. You can cancel the trial prior to the end of the 7 days if you decide you do not wish to continue and pay for a subscription.

If your 7-day trial ends or you cancel a subscription you will be unable to access most of the functionality of TenderHub such as viewing opportunity details, analytics, and receiving notifications.

What subscription plan is best for me?

TenderHub’s subscription page lists the inclusions for each of our subscription plans. The best plan for you will depend on the number of people in your team, and whether you need advanced features that make life easier for larger teams.

As we add new features over time, some of these may only be available in the Team and/or Enterprise plan. We’ve aimed to keep all subscription plans as affordable as possible and our prices compare favourably to our competition.

Can I expect to gain more value out of my subscription over time?

Absolutely. We are adding new features to TenderHub every week or two and have an exciting roadmap to deliver more and more to our subscribers. We also scour new opportunity sources continuously to ensure the best possible coverage.

Is a subscription for me personally or for my whole organisation?

Your TenderHub subscription is associated with your organisation. This allows to you have multiple colleagues under a single subscription and share the love!

If you are likely to be the only TenderHub user within your organisation, our standard single-user plan may be the best value for you.

Will my subscription be renewed automatically at the end of each subscription period?

Yes, you will be billed for the following period (monthly for a monthly plan, annually for an annual plan) prior to the expiry of your subscription.

You can cancel your subscription prior to the renewal date and continue to use TenderHub up until your subscription expires.

How long is my contract?

You are committed only as long as your subscription term. If you are on a monthly subscription, you can cancel prior to the monthly subscription renewal date. If you are on an annual subscription, you can cancel prior to the annual renewal date.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription here. You will be able to continue using TenderHub up until your subscription expiry date. After this, you will have limited non-subscriber access only and your saved searches and watch-list notifications will no longer be functional.

What payment methods do you accept?

TenderHub accepts online payments with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
