This project aims to design and deliver a robust, scalable AWS-based infrastructure to host and execute the Fire Ignition, Suppression, and Impact (FISI) calculation engine. The engine will produce geospatial output products for integration with the web-based Fire Danger Viewer (FDV), a critical platform used by Australian Fire Danger Rating System (AFDRS) stakeholders. The infrastructure will support automated processing of FISI outputs through a modular data pipeline that aligns with existing FDV integration workflows. It will be built using AWS best practices for architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability. The solution will ensure seamless interoperability with the current AWS-hosted FDV environment and enable both operational trialling and future production deployment of FISI products.
