Description
The Contract shall include the supply of all plant, equipment, labour and material necessary for the execution of the whole of the Works required for Annual Maintenance Painting of Seaway Jetty 2013-2018 at the Spit entrance, Southport, all in accordance with this Specification, Particular and General Conditions of Contract and the Drawings. In addition, the 450mm diameter discharge pipeline on South Stradbroke Island is also included in this Contract.
The Contract comprises of five Separable Portions, each being one annual maintenance painting service to the jetty. Each annual maintenance service shall require the cleaning down, inspection and appropriate restoration, where necessary, of all painted surfaces as described in the Specification so as to ensure that the paintwork is kept in a sound and clean condition at all times.
