Queensland Rail has approximately 6000 employees located throughout Queensland. Approximately half of these employees are classified as Rail Safety Workers who require health assessments under the National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers (NHS). There are also 350 contracted employees who are eligible for annual executive health evaluations.
