Description
North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) requires the use of computer assisted coding or autonomous coding in its clinical coding service. NMHS currently has approximately 175,000 separations annually, ranging in complexity. NMHS currently contracts out a portion of the coding services (approximately 30,000 records) and is looking to invest in the capability and the capacity of their workforce to undertake these internally with support from computer assisted coding. The proposed solution must include workflow management, have auditing capability, edit capability and reports to assist with efficient throughput and overall coding management.
