Description
The Tax Office requires a panel of providers to deliver a range of training services under the heading of high level negotiation and influencing skills. Services may be required either nationally or in a particular State or Territory. The term of the Panel will be for a period of three (3) years with two twelve month option periods. The Tax Office is seeking a panel of specialist providers that are innovative and flexible in the delivery of leading edge training services, and who can work within tight timeframes and have the ability to deliver effective training programs to Tax Office representatives. The panel will include a limited number of providers who are able to provide training and associated services to meet our particular requirements. The Tax Office envisages that no more than three (3) or four (4) providers will be appointed to the Panel however final numbers will depend upon the outcome of the RFT process. The Services are required to provide skilling and development programs for Tax Office staff who are involved in negotiations with Large Corporate Clients and where large amounts of revenue (either tax or penalties) are in dispute. Specific requirements include the following: 1. Provision of training and development programs / courses in conducting high level, difficult and sensitive negotiations and settlements to obtain optimal outcomes. 2. Provision of training and development programs / courses in high level negotiation/influencing skills to the level needed for dealing with difficult situations with Large Corporate clients and/or their advisors so that productive relationships are maintained. 3. Development of training manuals and education materials relating to high level negotiation and influencing that can be of ongoing use as a reference for participants. 4. Development of a methodology and process to assess existing skills in negotiation and influencing. 5. Development of an assurance process to assess skills gained from the skilling.
