Wodonga Creek Pumping Station Upgrade - Design and Construct

The Wodonga Creek Raw Water Pumping Station, located on Bandiana Link Road in Wodonga, is a key essential infrastructure asset that requires a significant upgrade. The upgrade works include the decommissioning and modification of existing structures along with the supply, installation and commissioning of a new pump well, building, pumps and all associated civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, control and automation works.

North East Water has completed a Preliminary Design that will be issued as part of this Request for Tender to the open market seeking to engage a Principal Contractor under a Design and Construct Contract to deliver the Works Under Contract.

North East Water requires a Principal Contractor with demonstrated experience and capability in delivering similar projects under a certified management system within the specified timeframe.

North East Water requires a Principal Contractor that must have a supplier management system that is fully certified by a certifying body against one of the standards / assurance systems listed by both the Department of Treasury (DTF) & Finance and Worksafe.

Tenderers must have one of the following approved OHS assurance systems that is independently certified/audited for currency, to be considered eligible to participate in this tender:
(a) ‘Safety Map’;
(b) AS 4801 2001: OHS Management Systems;
(c) Civil Contractors Federation ManagementCode;
(d) Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme;and
(e) ISO 45001 2008 Occupational Health and Safety ManagementSystems.
