Bathurst Island Alternative Renewable Power Supply

The works required are summarised as follows:
- Detailed design of alternative power generation system;
- Supply and installation of renewable generation sources and supporting structures where deemed cost effective by the Contractor. This may include solar panels and wind turbines;
- Supply and installation of containerised equipment enclosures. These should be pre-fabricated and house all inverters, power distribution equipment, batteries, generators, climate control and control systems for the generation system.
- Connection of the new generation system into existing electrical distribution system;
- Connection of the new generation system into the existing diesel storage system; and
- Training on-site personnel in the operation and maintenance of the new generation system.
