Provision of Engineering Support to the Integrated Survivability Assessment Facility

The Integrated Survivability Assessment Facility (ISAF) is a real-time synthetic simulation environment that comprises a suite of digital Electronic Warfare (EW) models, including simulations of threat missile systems, aircraft, environment, countermeasures and countermeasure systems, sensors and sensor systems.As part of the ISAF’s distributed simulation environment, it enables the incorporation of EW Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) and Human-in-the-Loop (HIL) components.

The ISAF supports the Countermeasure Development & Validation (CMD&V) program as part of AIR 5416. In particular, the ISAF will contribute to Electro-Optic Countermeasure aspects of the CMD&V program, comprising experimentation and field trials.In Financial Year 2014-15 and Financial Year 2015-16 the ISAF will be supported under the CMD&V Sustainment Plan for ultimate transition to CMD&V Sustainment by Financial Year 2016-17 onwards.

Engineering support effort is required to complete the development of the ISAF to the level of an operational capability, and to provide on-going support to the sustainment and operation of the ISAF for experimentation and trials activities.

The team will include a subject matter expert and an engineering support team. The team composition can be proposed by the tenderer.
