Adelaide 500 - Ground Staff Services

The Adelaide 500 is a four-day event staged by the SA Motor Sport (SAMS) on Adelaide’s world-renowned street circuit and surrounding parklands in the heart of the CBD. The event is South Australia’s largest annual ticketed sporting event providing a vibrant mix of motorsport and other off-track attractions appealing to a diverse audience.

The Event precinct is a temporary street circuit located within a defined, fully fenced area in the East Parklands of the City of Adelaide.

The preferred supplier is required to provide appropriately trained, and experienced, professional groundstaff personnel for the 4-day event period.

The scope of work for the Groundstaff Services contract for the Adelaide 500 has remained largely consistent since the inception of the event in 1999, with an estimated 115 positions required each day for the four days of the event. Groundstaff functions include patron direction, seating, ushering, ticket checking, information provision and related services.
