Saliva Drug Testing - Oral Fluid Collection Kit

29/6/2016 Amendment Notice 1 has been issued for the following;

To advised of changes made to Part B Specification item 5.3 Technical and Function Specifications Requirements - Oral Fluid Collection Kit to (5.3.1 e & 5.3.1 f) page 8.

For full details please refer to - Part B Specification POL 16_085 Revision 1 and Amendment Notice 1.

Please be advised that SAPOL had recently release this Invitation to Supply under SA Tender code SAPOL041207 which is now closed.

Due to SAPOL making a minor change to the original Specification Part B, (clause 5.3.2 f); SAPOL is re submitting the Invitation to Supply to market with the only change to specification being:

Where the collection device dilutes neat oral fluid, the dilution factor shall be one of either:

• no greater than 3, i.e. no more than two parts of diluent shall be added to 1 part of neat oral fluid; or,

• no greater than 4, i.e. no more than three parts of diluent shall be added to 1 part of neat oral fluid.

Suppliers should advise in which category their diluent factor falls for each kit type supplied. (M)

There has also be a minor change to Part A – Procurement Process Guidelines section 4 – Important Dates

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with these dates most importantly the closing date of the Invitation to Supply Saliva Drug Testing – Oral Fluid Collection Kit as it will be open for 2 weeks only

All other documents in the recent Invitation to Supply remain the same
