Landscape Works for Stage 2 Breakout Creek Wetlands

The scope of this Registration of Interest pertains to the landscaping, specifically the planting and maintenance of wetland specimens. The propagation and supply of wetland plants will form a separate contract. The maintenance period to ensure proper establishment of the wetlands is expected to be 24 months.

The scope of works is:

·Installation of the plants specified into a growing medium prepared by others. A technical specification will be provided to prescribe these requirements.

·It is anticipated that planting will occur over two years. Plant numbers will be in the order of 60,000 for the first year and 40,000 for the second year.

·24 months maintenance period during which the landscape contractor will be responsible for the maintenance of the wetland plants.

·To work in association with the Civil Contractor to ensure works are well coordinated and delivered in a safe manner.

·Work in accordance with the project’s Environmental Management Plan.
