Description
The successful Tenderer must offer professional indemnity insurance, in the form of a contract with each individual eligible privately practising midwife who seeks such cover, to provide cover for their midwifery services in a manner that is efficient, equitable and timely, with effect from 1 July 2010 for a total of three years.
The successful Tenderer must manage all claims during the contract period and certain run-off claims after the expiry of the contract and must collect and provide data on incident notifications and claims to Medicare Australia.Categories
