Description
The project involves the replacement of existing floor tiling at Glendalough & Stirling stations in the foyer and lobby due to age, deterioration of the existing surface & non-conformance rating during annual slip testing. The key outcomes are to enhance aesthetics, safety, and durability for the travelling customers and PTA staff. The scope includes the removal of old tiles, preparation of the subfloor, installation of new tiles, installation of tactiles to Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) specifications and any related finishing work. All work is to be completed as per PTA Specification 8803-000-002 Maintainability and Constructability and any associated PTA Specifications. Objectives - Remove existing flooring tiles and prepare the subfloor for new tile installation. Install new floor tiles with appropriate adhesives and sealants according to PTA specifications. Complete the project within specified timeframes. Ensure compliance with all Safety, DDA, PTA and building code specifications.
