The PHCRED Strategy is a program funded by the Australian Government (around $100 million from 2000-10) to improve Australia’s capacity to produce high quality primary health care research.
The key evaluation objectives are to determine the efficiency, effectiveness and appropriateness of the Strategy and its individual components, and to develop opportunities for possible future improvements to the Strategy, and/or alternative options to the Strategy.
Proposals for this evaluation will be required to demonstrate a high level of evaluation expertise.A knowledge of the primary health care research environment is desirable.
