Details
Description
The City of Tea Tree Gully (Council) invites tenders for the supply and installation of playground equipment at Golden Fields Adventure Playground (the Services). The Council intends to enter into an AS 4902 Contract with the successful Respondent.
Golden Fields Reserve was established as part of the Golden Grove Development, in the late 1980’s. For the past 26 years, the City of Tea Tree Gully has gradually developed the Reserve into a highly utilised Regional Reserve. Frequented by local residents and the broader community, the reserve provides a range of recreation opportunities.
Currently, the site includes a large Regional Playground Development, Large Kickabout areas (including multi use goals), BBQs, Picnic Facilities, Carparking, Public Toilets, Skate Park, Rage Cage, BMX Track, Extensive Walking Trails, Parkland developments and an Amphitheatre.
Council is partnering with the South Australian Government to complete a $1.5 million ‘Adventure’ playspace project at Golden Fields, Golden Grove (The Playspace). The Playspace will be built in the lower section of the reserve and provide unique play opportunities for children aged 7 to 14 years. The development will also include an accessible toilet, street and park furniture, additional plantings, a car park for daytime use and an access road.
