The Attorney General’s Department (AGD) manages the contract and financial arrangements for the South Australian State Rescue Helicopter Service (SRHS).
The SRHS is a shared service used by three user agencies including SA Ambulance, SA Police and SA Country Fire Service.
The SRHS has two types of aircraft used by the user agencies:
Bell 412 EP; and
EC-130.
Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) is a requirement for all SRHS user agency flight personnel. All User Agency flight personnel are required to undertake HUET training.
SRHS is seeking quotations from service providers with the necessary qualifications, capability and experience in providing HUET courses, and the flexibility to meet SRHS scheduling requirements, as well as a proven track record of providing HUET to clients comparable to the SRHS.
