Description
Remote Area Energy Supply (RAES) Scheme operates a fleet of up to 50 generators to supply power to remote areas throughout South Australia. As an essential service, reliability is a key to the success of the RAES program. A Generator Replacement Program will ensure fast response to maintenance issues and replacement of generators at the end of their useful life.
A Generator Replacement Program, Panel Contract of generator suppliers will ensure a quick turnaround of replacement generators, installation and maintenance through qualified suppliers that can meet RAES specifications and Requirements. The GRP Panel will consist of the top suppliers who have successfully completed the Invitation to Supply and have demonstrated they can meet the requirements of the RAES team.
A successful supplier to the Panel Contract eliminates lengthy procurement process as the mandatory requirements have been met and approved, this allows the RAES team to approach the top suppliers with a Request for Quote (RFQ), requesting goods and services specific to the RAES generation needs.
