Description

The Department of Transport’s (DoT) On-Demand Transport (OdT) directorate regulates the on-demand transport industry through the Taxi Act and Transport Coordination Act.

In investigating suspected offences under these Acts it is sometimes necessary to utilise private investigative services.

Offers are being sought from suitability experienced and licenced Inquiry Agents to provide investigative operations and services, as and when required, in accordance with the Specifications in Schedule 2.

It is envisaged that the contract will be awarded to a panel of approximately two (2) or three (3) licenced Inquiry Agents. This however will depend on the quality and suitability of the Offers submitted.

While the services are predominately required for OdT, please note that the other Directorates of the Department may utilise these services as and when required.
