Supply of an Engineering Information Management (EIM) System

The EIM is to be used across the organisation as the single source of managing and dispersing engineering information. It will be where Main Roads employees and contractors work in a single environment, allowing for enhanced collaborative practices and ensuring Main Roads always has the latest information available during planning, design and construction (pre and post) activities.

It is proposed that the EIM will be the system of engagement for practitioners of engineering grade information used across the organisation (e.g. survey, design models (concept, preliminary and final), drawings and as constructed information and materials drawings). This also includes design and drawing approval workflows and digital signatures required for engineering information. The EIM will be the system of engagement for this type of data and provide a platform for the use of smart engineering systems, e.g. BIM (Building Information Modelling) for design and construction and asset management purposes.

Supply of an Engineering Information Management System

If the supply of the EIM system is via cloud based system solutions, installation and configuration of the system in test and production environments is required

Training of EIM system to administrators, heavy and light users

Configuration Services required by Main Roads IT
