The Australia Awards is a whole of government initiative, currently combining the capacity and opportunity of three leading Australian Government scholarship programs – the Development Awards (managed by the Australian Agency for International Development: AusAID), the John Allwright Fellowship and John Dillon Fellowship Awards (managed by Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research: ACIAR) and the Endeavour Awards (managed by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education: DIISRTE). Over time, the initiative may be extended to further Australian Government agencies.
