Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) – WACHS Network Administrators

WACHS Network Administrators to support the Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP). Key Outcomes: i. Supporting and administering, WACHS Network Infrastructure spread across Regional WA. ii. Installation and testing of network management software and hardware in accordance with processes and procedures. iii. Capacity management and proactive troubleshooting. iv. Analyses and resolves network communications hardware and software problems in a health services ICT environment. System Management: i. Configures and maintains Network and Security Management Platforms including system administration and custom scripting. ii. Monitors utilisation of the network and security communications systems. iii. Assists in the development of the network and security management capabilities. iv. Prepares and presents statistical reports on network communications system utilisation to assist management decision making, e.g., capacity planning. v. Initiates appropriate action to ensure network communications and security systems performance meet required levels of service. vi. Maintains technical support procedures and associated documentation. vii. Ensures adherence to established policies and procedures in respect to access to network communications systems. viii. Contributes to the design and implementation of information systems according to accepted methodology and standards. ix. Undertakes and provides technical guidance in the development of system contingency and disaster recovery plans in relation to the corporate computer environment. Operation Support: i. Installs tests and maintains network communications operating and system software and hardware with adherence to WACHS change management procedures. ii. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of network communications hardware and software problems encountered in the WACHS information and information technology environment. iii. Liaise with users, departmental staff and external suppliers in the maintenance and support of the WACHS information and information technology environment. iv. Performs duties in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
