Services of a Network Architect - CHIIP

CHIIP are seeking a Network Architect for a role, with demonstrated expertise in proactively resolving issues and engaging effectively with stakeholders. This role will be directed by HSS to: • Develop technical artefacts for Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP), which incorporates the technical environment and approach for projects like LAN and core backbone uplift, and edge migrations. • Undertake discovery/review of all material developed to-date for the CHIIP program, e.g., High-Level Designs (HLD’s) and Low-Level Designs (LLD’s), Facilities Services Designs (FSD’s), etc. • Create new Facilities Services Designs (network & fibre topologies, rack designs, power designs) to meet CHIIP backbone and edge design requirements. • Based on the material reviewed, work with the CHIIP architecture team to determine key priorities and objectives to meet program timelines and technical requirements. • Identify other artefacts (policy/specification/plans/risk assessments etc) that need to be established as part of the CHIIP roadmap. • Participate in architectural conversations and compliance with the Health Architecture Reference Framework and other relevant WA Health technical standards and specifications. • Work with the site projects to develop the necessary artefacts to facilitate network cutovers and inform the project schedule. • Review technical change requests and Hypercare support as required. • Ensure alignment of activities with those specified by the CHIIP Project Management Office (PMO). • Provide regular status reporting and risk evaluation of the program from an architectural perspective. • The successful candidate will have the following: • Substantial working experience in large enterprise network environments. • Certified and or strong working knowledge or experience with industry frameworks, standards and maturity models, such as TOGAF, Archimate, Essential 8, COBIT, MSP etc.
