Mechanical Services Maintenance

The Museum of Tropical Queensland (MTQ) located in Townsville (a campus of Queensland Museum) requires Preventative Maintenance Services & Breakdown Maintenance Services (if any) for its mechanical services (including heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration and associated electrical controls and switching) in accordance with the applicable code and standards.

Services are required for a potential contract term of 1 year with an option to extend at the Principal’s discretion for a further 2 x 1 year contract terms (no more than 3 years in total), in order to maintain a controlled environment that is suitable for the storage of museum objects and specimens and to allow other staff and public to occupy the museum.

MANDATORY INDUSTRY BRIEFING: A Mandatory Industry Briefing will be held for this tender and as per the tender conditions, only those who attend the briefing are eligible to submit an offer. Refer Clause 2.3 - Mandatory Industry Briefing of the Additional Provisions to Tender document for full details. Please ensure you register your attendance with Corporate Administration Agency as per clause 2.3.1.5.

* To assist Offerers the Response Schedules have been provided as a separate ‘word’ document ready for completion and submission along with the first page of the Maintenance Services Offer Form.
