Nanango State School Block D Refurbishment (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the refurbishment of an existing classroom Block (Block D) at The Nanango State School, located at 34-42 Drayton Street, Nanango QLD 4615 as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The project includes the refurbishment of 4 Classrooms and 1 Store Room / Multipurpose Room on the upper level and a 1 Classroom on the lower level. The position of the building is in the centre of the school with difficult access. All works are to be completed by 17 January 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
