Description
DPIRD requires a suitably qualified and experienced consultancy to update and utilise an existing numerical groundwater model for the Weaber Plain (Goomig) Development Project (Goomig Project), to provide information on:
sources of groundwater recharge leading to shallow water tables recorded in the Goomig Project area in recent years.
the need for, and extent of dewatering measures, and the impact this will make to groundwater levels.
The project will use existing groundwater models developed by Kellogg Brown Root(KBR) (2011) updated with new data and, potentially, focused to area(s) where groundwater level, groundwater and soil EC trigger criteria have been exceeded.
