Description
The primary purpose of establishing the Air Transport Standing Offer Panel is to provide the Commonwealth with additional and surge capacity and capability for move large and small numbers of Commonwealth personnel and various volumes of Commonwealth cargo by air, often under complex and/or short-notice tasking schedules. This work predominantly supports the strategic requirements of Joint Operations Command to support operations, annual or biennial military exercises (such as Talisman Sabre) and aid to the Australian and international community as required.
