Bracken Ridge State School - New covered Walk Way (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education is inviting tenders for the Bracken Ridge State School New covered walk way (stage 2), along with concrete works. These minor works are to ensure dry covered access for the students from the Hall to existing walkway plus an option to connect to the new covered play area next to OSHC building. Furthermore walk way will require lighting throughout the run for added security.

The Works generally comprise of the following:
• Allowance for concrete cutting for where post met existing concrete path.
• Minor earth works for subgrade of new concrete path. (remove any soft spots)
• Service location to ensure safe work practice is applied.
• All structural design will come under the contract awarded the works.
• All steel work will be HDG
• Supply and installation of roof sheeting to comply with DoE standards.
• Allowance to connect any new storm water works

Ensuring compliant design and construction to meet all Australian Standards for access and compliance and DoE standards. Design to be certified with certifier engaged by contractor prior to construction.

Site Visit Details: Recommended Site Visit on Thursday 28th of October 2021 at 11:30pm - please meet outside the Administration Reception. Please confirm attendance be 12pm Monday 25th October 2021. Tenderers will not be able to visit the site outside this arranged time so please invite relevant subcontractors to assist in pricing.
