Description

The Department of Water manages several thousand State Reference network monitoring bores throughout Western Australia. The Department of Water is currently undertaking an extensive replacement program of its monitoring bore network. The Department of Water does not have drilling equipment or staff in-house to undertake the drilling of replacement bores. To replace the Department’s bore assets, it is necessary to engage a contractor with the necessary expertise and equipment to undertake the program.
Under this Contract, the Department of Water proposes to construct up to fourteen (14) groundwater monitoring bores of various depths from an estimated 46m to an estimated 266m for an estimated total of 1764m in line with the Description of Work, Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia, Edition 2 and the Department of Water (DoW) Guidelines.
