Description
The Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA) require a mini-rhizotron camera system to capture and store images of roots growing in field conditions. The mini-rhizotron camera is a portable device that is inserted into clear acrylic tubes that have been installed in field plots, and the images that it captures are used to measure root growth. The package of hardware and software needs to have the capacity to: capture images, store images and an automated analysis of images.
