Gippsland Regional Agribusiness (GRA) is a subsidiary of Gippsland Water (GW) and currently operates a flood irrigation system in a 15 hectare (ha) property adjacent to the Mirboo North waste water treatment plant (WWTP). The water supplying the irrigation is the class C water from the winter storage lagoon. The irrigation is critical in managing the water levels in the lagoon system of the WWTP. Gippsland Water is seeking the design, supply and delivery of a new irrigation system comprising of:
- Pump station
- Floating screen and pump inlet
- 120m overall arm length self-propelled pivot for an effective 150m full radius
- 12 of 360-degree fixed Stand Sprinklers, or 180-degree impact sprinklers or approved equivalent with 25m nominal spray radius
- Wi-Fi operated controls for each sprinkler/pivot
- All required pipework
