Suicide Risk Assessment and Intervention Training

The Department is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to deliver eleven (11) one-day face-to-face training course to the Department’s social workers to be delivered in eight (8) capital cities around Australia. The successful Tenderer will have:

(a) experience in the development and delivery of suicide prevention training;

(b) by professionals with qualifications relevant to the field to design and deliver the courses; and

(c) access to evidence-based research and the ability to critically analyse this and apply it appropriately to the development of a contextualised training package.

The successful Tenderer must also provide a supporting package available on-line that the facilitator should utilise during the course of the training but must remain available as an ongoing resource available to the Department’s social workers for further reference.
