For The Provision of A Variety of Dairy Products To Department of Defence Establishments In Victoria.

You are invited to submit a tender in response to RFT 0910-367 to provide provision of non perishables and perishables foodstuff (dairy products) to the Department of Defence – Defence Support group Puckapunyal Military area under a standing offer panel arrangement.

Defence has a requirement to provide limited quantities of dairy products on a regular basis to a variety of exercise locations and training units throughout Victoria. Dairy products will be used as ingredients in preparing meals for consumption in exercise and training areas away from barracks, and to supplement field rations to provide a balanced diet. Dairy products will also be used as ingredients in the preparation of meals by trainee ADF cooks and chefs in both temporary and permanent kitchens.

As these dairy products will be used in field conditions and for training purposes, Defence will place importance on the quality, condition and delivery system used to support this contract. A key distribution node will be the Albury/ Wodonga area for the provision of dairy products in support of the ADF School of Catering field training team. On occasion, other distribution areas may include Western Victoria, Central Victoria, Gippsland and Alpine areas.
