Details
Description
This is a notice for an Early Contractor Involvement – Head Contractor procurement.
Phase 1.1 is comprised of works from Enhanced Land Force Program. Stage 1.1 will provide an underpass for the expanded Cultana Training Area. This will allow unimpeded access between the east and west portions of the Training Area which is divided by significant third-party infrastructure being: the Lincoln Highway, Morgan-Whyalla pipeline and Whyalla-Pt Augusta railway.
Phase 1.1 is the delivery of:
- Lincoln Highway Road Bridge
- Australia Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) rail bridge
- South Australia Water (SA Water) bridge
- Underpass retaining structures (soil nail walls)
- Existing optical fibre treatments owned by Telstra and Australian Academic Research Network (AARNet)
- Pavement selections; and
- Drainage infrastructure; to provide a primary access point and uninhibited access between the eastern and western portions of the Cultana Training Area.
Due to the complex technical and buildability components of the Project resulting from interacting with third party infrastructure, a ECI HC is required for input to the existing 30% Concept Design Report and moving into the 50% Schematic Design Report, 90% Detailed Design Milestone through to the Delivery stage.
