HARDENED AND NETWORKED ARMY FACILITIES PROJECT - WORKS PACKAGE 7 - MURRAY BRIDGE CAMP FACILITIES

Registrations of Interest are invited from suitably qualified entities to undertake the role of Contractor required for Camp Facilities at Murray Bridge Training Area, South Australia.

At the time of issuing the Invitation to Register Interest the works include Camp Facilities at Murray Bridge Training Area consisting of: an upgrade of facilities to support 300 troops, including upgrading existing electrical and telecommunications infrastructure, installing Defence Restricted Network infrastructure, and upgrading and/or installing new site infrastructure; construction of new command building; construction of new dining facilities and kitchen; construction of new Q store; construction of new lecture theatre; upgrade of existing Regimental Aid Post / Medical Officer (MO) facilities; construction of new vehicle shed and hardstand; laying of six new tent slabs; and construction of a communications tower.

At the time of issuing the Invitation to Register Interest, the Commonwealth is also considering procuring construction and earthworks with regard to two new ranges as part of the works for Works Package 7, however these elements are still the subject of Government approval.
