Commercial Air Support for Parachute Activities at Parachute Training School Nowra NSW

Headquarters Training Command-Army (HQ TC-A), invites responses to a Request for Tender (RFT), for the hire of suitable aircraft and associated crewing staff, to support the parachute training activities of the Parachute Training School (PTS), at Nowra NSW.

Patrachute Training School-Army conduct Free Fall (FF) and Static Line (L) Parachute Training, as well as coordinating Red Beret demonstrations, utilising RAAF aircraft. The PTS activities primarily operate from the Naval Air Station at Nowra NSW, however, weather and operational requirements may necessitate operation from other locations.

Headquarters Training Command-Army is seeking to arrange a contract for a period of five (5) years, with a two (2) year extension option, with a commercial operator capable of providing dry hire of aircraft and associated crew and support staff, to provide air support for PTS Free Fall, Static Line and Red Beret Parachute activities.

It is envisaged the air operations would be based out of the Naval Air Station Nowra for PTS operations, and would be uitlised for approximately 900 flying hours per year, spread over each year.
