Description

The primary purpose of the Contract is to ensure that Transperth’s non-rail facilities are properly maintained through a Facility Management contract arrangement. In recognition of the flexible nature of the public transport system, the style of the Contract is intended to facilitate changes to meet public demand that may be required throughout the period of the Contract.
In addition to the primary service requirement, the Public Transport Authority may also request the Contractor to provide Services at other PTA facilities including rail related facilities. In the event that these Services are requested, the Public Transport Authority and the Contractor shall ensure that any staff and sub contractors engaged for the provision of these Services has the appropriate rail safety accreditation, if applicable, before any work commences.
The categories of services required under the contract are as follows:
a) Planned Maintenance Services;
b) Routine Maintenance Services;
c) Breakdown Repair Services including a requirement for a 24 hour emergency call out capability 365 days a year;
d) Capital and Minor Works Services.
