Description
The Australian Department of Social Services invites suitably skilled organisations to tender for the provision of the JobAccess Gateway (Gateway) Services.
The Gateway will be a central entry point for employment for people with a disability, employers, service providers, disability sector and the broader community.
The Gateway will build on the current JobAccess website (jobaccess.gov.au) and streamline information on disability employment programs, enhance online and telephone services and provide users with access to government funded programmes such as the Employment Assistance Fund, wage subsidies and mental health awareness.
The Gateway services will incorporate the following functions:
• Content management of the JobAccess Gateway site (the website) by increasing the promotion of employment of people with disability;
• Information and advisory service for people with disability, employers, service providers and general public (the Advice Service);
• Complaints Resolution and Referral Service (CRRS);
• National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline (the Hotline);
• Administration of the Employment Assistance Fund; and
• Engagement with employers to increase employment opportunities for people with disability.
