Description
The Commonwealth is seeking support for the five (5) Naval Logistics Applications (NAVAL APPS) listed below which provide IT Services for Royal Australian Navy (RAN) bases and vessels, specifically:
a. Ships Logistics Information Management System (SLIMS);
b. Defence Logistics Data Interchange Point (DLDIP);
c. Naval Common Management Code (NAVCMC);
d. Assembly Parts List Construction, Reassessment and Tracking Expert System (APLCRATES); and,
e. Naval Allowance (NAVALLOW).
The 5 Navy Logistics applications were developed in-house under separate contract arrangements. The 5 applications have been in service for a number of years, the oldest since 1988.
