Pre-qualification: To be eligible to tender, Tenderers must be suitably prequalified with National Roadworks Category R3 or higher.

National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and the Building Code: “The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, in conjunction with the Building Code 2014, applies to this project. The Building Code document is available at employment.gov.au/building-code.”

Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme: It is a requirement of this project that any person contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005, at the time of the Tender closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Regulation 24(1)(h) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au).
