Description
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is seeking to identify companies who are able to provide a software application that will manage grants administered by the department.
As DENR is at the contemplative stage of this project DENR is seeking feedback and recommendations about applications and the extent of functionality they provide. This input will help shape the final business arrangements. To ensure mutual understanding between DENR and prospective suppliers DENR intends to carry out this Request for Information (RFI) process which will provide all suppliers with an early and equal opportunity (if they wish), to present information and influence the direction of the project.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to invite the support and cooperation of potential suppliers in the development of the final specification as the concept is not fully developed. DENR is interested in carrying out a series of evaluations and discussions with potential suppliers to obtain information about methodologies proposed and likely business processes. After investigation of project feasibility the project may be approved to proceed to tender.
DENR may decide not to proceed beyond this stage.
