Contract No. 23C043, Mailroom Management and Courier Services

The Department requires the provision of an internal and outgoing mail function which includes mailroom management, fixed couriers to metropolitan and regional delivery points and ad-hoc courier services.

Deliverables include:

• Collection and opening of incoming mail
  • All mail to be opened;
  • Subsets addressed to specific areas not opened; and
  • Invoices only opened.
• Sorting of incoming mail;
• Balancing of incoming mail;
• Preparation of bags and cases to/from mail room;
• Dispatch of bags and cases to/from mail room;
• Preparation of outgoing mail and parcels;
• Cheques from each Service SA (SSA) Customer Service Centre (Centre) are placed in the overnight bag and delivered to head office each day. Thereafter they are collected by cash handling supplier;
• Dispatch (fixed run courier service) of outgoing mail and parcels;
• Additional collection run from Pirie St for SSA outgoing mail;
• Online Booking Ad hoc courier services (Greater Metropolitan Adelaide & Regional SA);
• Additional requested courier runs;
• Removal of decommissioned sites from courier runs when advised;
• Collection and removal of obsolete number plates from SSA Centres; and
• Delivery of Driver Handbooks to SSA Centres and other agents.
• Delivery of number plates to EzyReg Dealer Delegates.
