Description
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) owns a property at Lot 804 Boundary Rd Kenwick, which is reserved as Parks and Recreation under the Metropolitan Region Scheme and included in Bush Forever Area 387. The site is intended for management by the Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW) as part of the Greater Brixton Street wetlands suite. The site contains landfill that includes some asbestos containing material (ACM). Following extensive environmental investigations and discussion with the Department of Environment Regulation, the agreed remediation is to cover the landfill with a protective warning barrier and 300mm of topsoil.
The Department of Planning (The Department), on behalf of the WAPC, is seeking Offers for remediation work to a contaminated site as detailed in this Request for Tender.
