Description

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the refurbishment of the wellbeing centre in the heritage listed part of Block A at Kelvin Grove State College, Senior Campus as part of the school direct program.


The refurbishment works include some minor demolition, new offices, kitchenette, flexible spaces and new services in Block A. All services need further design. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 21 January 2022.


Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
