Gladstone SHS Student Wellbeing (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Student Wellbeing area at Gladstone SHS, located at 30 Dawson Road, Gladstone QLD 4068, as part of the School Direct program.

The works include the refurbishment and reconfiguration of existing rooms in Block D to create a new wellbeing centre and construction of a new external kitchenette. The position of the building is at the side of the school with easy site access, but limited working space. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2024

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
