Mt Mee SS - Block C Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Block C GLA Refurbishment at Mount Mee State School, located at 1368 Mount Mee Road, Mount Mee Qld 4521, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The GLA refurbishment comprises of the demolition of internal spaces and refurbishing two general learning areas including inter alia floor finishes, joinery, operable wall, and services. The position of the building is at the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
