Shakespeare St, Showgrounds and Milton St Intersections Upgrade Project

Contractors prequalified at R3 F10 and above are invited to tender to construct upgrade works at the following adjacent intersections near the CBD of Mackay:

• Shakespeare Street / Bruce Highway (10G) Intersection (Chainage 155.663);
• Bruce Highway (10G) / Bruce Highway (10H) Intersection (Chainage 155.965); and
• Milton Street / Mackay - Slade Point Road (857) Intersection (Chainage 0.416).

Queensland Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry and Building Code 2013 apply to this Contract.

Tenders must be accredited under the Australian Government Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005 (BCII Act). When entering into contracts for building works, as defined under Section 5 of the BCII Act, the successful tenderer must ensure their accreditation is maintained under that scheme while the building work is carried out.
