Description

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the provision of Underwater Inspection of Bridges and Culverts.

Queensland Rail is seeking to engage with a contractor to carry out the underwater inspection of bridges and culverts around the network. This contract is limited to the inspection work only. However, upon request by the various appropriate regional Asset Managers, the contractor may be called on to assist with, and in some cases carry out, recommended remediation works.

This work is safety critical as it involves the confirmation of structural integrity of the underlying track structures [bridges and culverts]. These inspections and any necessary remediation works are vital to ensuring the safety and ongoing availability of the network for rail operations.
