For the Manufacturing and Installing of a True Triaxial Cell

Offers are invited by The University of Queensland in relation to Invitation to Offer No. UQ1406 for the manufacturing and installing of a True Triaxial Cell as specified in the Invitation to Offer document. The University of Queensland requires a true triaxial cell which will be used for advanced mechanical testing of rock specimens and unbound materials under complex three-dimensional loading conditions. It gives the possibility of testing static stress-strain measurements in each of the principal stress directions. The cell must be designed to allow for enabling hydraulic fracturing tests and advanced instrumentation based on acoustic emission. The design of the cell should be adjusted to a load frame existing at the School of Civil Engineering to minimise costs. The invitation is extended to optional offers for which the details are defined below.
