Description
Media literacy is the ability to create, use and share media and to critically reflect on this engagement. The Strategy is a key element of the Government’s work to ensure Australians are safe online and empowered to fully participate in the digital economy.
The successful tenderer will have:
- specialist media literacy expertise and experience, including a demonstrated understanding of media literacy competencies across Australia.
- experience producing and interpreting academic research in relation to media literacy.
- experience working with stakeholders in relation to media literacy, to support inclusive design practices and cross sector collaboration for the development of the Strategy.
- existing knowledge of emerging communications technologies and their impacts on media literacy
- the capacity and capability to undertake consultation with the community and other key stakeholders in relation to media literacy.
